Refund Policy

The Journey Club Tour & Travels aims to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for tour packages, hotel bookings, transportation, and other travel services.

By booking with us, you agree to the terms stated below.

 

1. Cancellation by Customer

Refund eligibility depends on the time of cancellation prior to the travel date.

Standard Cancellation Charges:

  • 30 days or more before travel date: 10% of total package cost will be deducted

  • 15–29 days before travel date: 25% of total package cost will be deducted

  • 7–14 days before travel date: 50% of total package cost will be deducted

  • Less than 7 days before travel date: No refund

Note: These charges may vary depending on hotel, houseboat, or third-party vendor policies.

 

2. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are generally non-refundable once booked:

  • Flight tickets

  • Train tickets

  • Gondola tickets

  • Adventure activities (skiing, trekking, snow sports)

  • Special event bookings

  • Peak season and festive period reservations

 

3. Cancellation by The JourneyClub Tour & Travels

In rare cases, we may cancel a tour due to:

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Landslides or road closures

  • Political unrest or security concerns

  • Government restrictions

  • Force majeure events

In such cases:

  • Alternative arrangements will be offered where possible, or

  • A refund will be processed after deducting non-recoverable expenses already paid to third parties.

 

4. Partial Refunds

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Unused hotel nights

  • Missed sightseeing

  • Late arrivals

  • Early departures

  • Voluntarily skipped activities

 

5. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days.

  • Refunds will be issued through the original payment method.

  • Bank processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

 

6. No-Show Policy

If a traveler does not show up on the departure date without prior notice, the booking will be treated as a “No Show,” and no refund will be provided.

 

7. Amendments & Rescheduling

Date changes may be allowed depending on availability and vendor policies.
Rescheduling charges may apply.
Price differences due to seasonal changes must be paid by the customer.

 

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding refunds shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Jammu & Kashmir.
